Rannie is a graduate of the Composing For Visual Media department at Los Angeles College of Music. She has written music for numerous short films, web series, PSA's and apps. Her credits include, among others, The Nova Film Festival (Northern Virginia), Macon Film Festival (Georgia), The Action On Film Festival (California), where the movie she scored, "Zelma's Unfinished Business" was nominated for best film in 3 categories; Best Period Piece, Best Special Effects and Best Experimental Project. It further went on to win the Elsa Lancaster award, and Outstanding Arthouse Award at Zedfest. She has credits in Adult Swim's number one hit comedy series "Black Jesus", asnd she wrote the music for Wild Rose Distinctive Achievement award-winner "Knotts". She was the songwriter and composer for "I Regret To Inform You", which was nominated for Best Short Film on the LGBT block at Macon Film Festival. She also has several placements in independent features such as "Hopes", "All The Right Places", "Devil's Due" and more. She composed music for the PSA of volunteer organization New Light Nepal, as part of the post earthquake disaster relief in collaboration with Time Warner. Further, she has written music for the app company Square Panda, which is aimed at teaching children the alphabet and spelling, through their app and an interactive board for iPad.
